SimuRide has 3D graphics that create a realistic simulated driving environment; you can drive in the city or in the country, on the freeway. My kids liked to practice driving in the rain or fog, which is great practice for when you have to drive in dangerous reduced visibility.
They can also practice block turns, and parallel parking; yielding to on coming cars, merge with traffic on a highway - virtually everything they'd need to know how to do, to be a good driver.
Comes with a bonus study disc, Road Rules Driving Test - a practice exam for the learner's permit written test. Users can answer a multiple choice exam, and also go through a study section.
